How to Measure Your Dog for the Perfect Fit

To make sure your dog’s harness fits comfortably and securely, it’s important to measure both their neck and chest correctly. Use a soft measuring tape and follow these simple steps:

Measure the Neck Girth

Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your dog’s neck, where the collar would normally sit.

Ensure the tape is snug but not tight, you should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck.

Record this measurement in centimeters (cm).

Measure the Chest Girth

Find the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs.


Wrap the measuring tape around this area, keeping it level and snug (again, leave room for two fingers).


Record the measurementthis is the most important size when choosing a harness.
